Med Surg RN – Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

Location: Rochester, New York
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: D/E/N Rotating Schedules (Days/Evenings/Nights)
• Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Holidays / On-Call / Callback / Charge as per unit needs

Weekly Hours: 36 hrs

Job Description:

Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and evidence-based practice, the Level II Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.

The RN is responsible for delivering competent, compassionate care aligned with established standards while taking on an expanded role that may include responsibilities such as:
• Charge Nurse duties
• Precepting new staff
• Participation in committees and unit initiatives

This role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced Med Surg environment.

Requirements:
• Telemetry experience required
• Active New York RN License (NY license only)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• BLS (AHA only)
