Skills: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care/management, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-piece, Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Long term care experience

Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Yes
Float Required: Yes - Will be floating between Eastern region hospitals (Long term care to Acute care) as needed. Location will be determined during scheduling period.
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
# Weekend Shifts per Contract: 6 weekend shifts per 13 week contract.
For all Eastern Region contracts, a personal car is REQUIRED. Uber and rideshare services are unreliable due to the rural nature of many locations.
Patient Diagnoses: CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, Respiratory Infections
Special Procedures/Unit Details: ABG Sampling, Ventilator Mgmt., Patient Assessment Skills, Med Administration, Pulmonary Hygiene
Special Equipment: Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, V60
