Travel Pharmacist – Outpatient / Retail | 4x10s Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support outpatient and retail pharmacy operations across multiple locations. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a consistent schedule and strong team support.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist
• Schedule: 4x10s (Day Shift)
• Shift: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM (Mon–Fri), 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM (Sat rotation)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions possible)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Outpatient / Retail Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications
• Provide patient counseling on medications, usage, and side effects
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff as needed
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and workflow operations
• Manage inventory and ensure proper medication storage
• Support multiple pharmacy locations based on coverage needs

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Recent retail or outpatient pharmacy experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic or similar systems
• Previous travel experience
• Comfortable floating between multiple pharmacy locations
• Strong adaptability and organizational skills
