Travel Pharmacist – Retail | 4x10s | No Weekends

We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy setting with a highly desirable schedule. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking for consistent hours, work-life balance, and a straightforward workflow.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist
• Schedule: 4x10s (Monday – Thursday)
• Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Retail Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and daily workflow
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Deliver excellent customer service in a patient-facing environment

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail pharmacy systems (QS1 or similar)
• Previous travel experience
• Strong adaptability and ability to manage workflow independently
