Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient | 7 On / 7 Off Nights

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for an inpatient hospital setting working a consistent 7 on / 7 off night shift schedule. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in an independent environment and enjoys a structured, predictable rotation.

Job Overview

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (7 on / 7 off, Wednesday–Tuesday)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital

Responsibilities

• Verify, prepare, and dispense medications safely and accurately
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and clinical accuracy
• Provide drug information and recommendations to physicians and care teams
• Monitor patient therapies and ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and pharmacy standards
• Manage controlled substances and ensure proper documentation
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations
• Educate patients and staff on medications, side effects, and usage

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Controlled substance license required
• Strong ability to work independently on night shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience
• Experience working in smaller or critical access hospitals
• Comfortable managing workflow independently overnight
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
