Description
Minimum Requirements (Strict)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
- Certifications:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
- Core Skills:
- Ability to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in a Pediatric ICU setting
- Proficiency with Servo-U ventilator management
- Experience in heliox therapy setup and management (invasive and non-invasive)
- Strong knowledge of non-invasive ventilation, including BiPAP and CPAP
- Neonatal competencies including:
- Bubble CPAP
- Nitric Oxide therapy
- High-frequency ventilation
Equipment & Technology
- Servo U & Drager VN500
- F&P Bubble CPAP
- HFOV (High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation)
- HFJV (High-Frequency Jet Ventilation)
- Vapotherm
- Heliox Therapy
Documentation
- Charting System: Epic
Additional Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity NICU/PICU environment
- Ability to manage a wide range of neonatal and pediatric respiratory conditions
- Must adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines
