Travel Echo Tech (Echocardiography Technician)

Location: HCA Florida Northside Hospital

6000 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks

Overview

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a Travel Echo Tech to support our Radiology department. This is a backfill position for a short-term assignment at a busy 288-bed facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of echo or cardiovascular imaging experience and be ready to integrate quickly into our team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform echocardiography studies accurately and efficiently in accordance with hospital policies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely
Participate in hospital rotation for weekends and holidays as scheduled

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year as an Echo Tech
Certifications: ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
Schedule Flexibility: Must work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
Professionalism: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
