Description
Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Day Shift)
Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide and administer nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner
- Follow proper nursing procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
- Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
- Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
