Travel/Contract ICU Registered Nurse

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to deliver expert care to patients in a prominent Chicago hospital. This 13-week contract provides the unique opportunity to work in a supportive, high-volume ICU unit, honing your telemetry skills and making a difference in patient outcomes. Required Skills:

• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with strong telemetry skills
• Proficiency in Meditech electronic charting (training provided if needed)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Strong communication, resilience, and adaptability in a changing environment
• Ability to float to Tele or ED as needed

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience working in high-acuity ICU settings
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech
• Additional certifications in critical care or specialty areas

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Valid Illinois RN license
• At least two years of ICU experience, with solid telemetry skills
• Strong charting skills

Other Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination (medical or religious declinations must be approved before start)
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Willingness to float between ICU, Tele, or ED units as needed
• Must possess a driver’s license, professional references, and the last 4 digits of Social Security for compliance
