RN – Med Surg
13 Weeks | 36 Hours | Nights
Lamar, CO

Seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg assignment in Lamar, CO. This role is ideal for a strong acute care nurse who is confident with patient assessments, IV therapy, independent decision-making, and working in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Requirements:
• Active Colorado RN license
• BLS/CPR required
• ACLS required or obtainable within 1 year
• Previous Med Surg experience required
• 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and data collection
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Supervise LPNs and Nurse Aides as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Additional Notes:
• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• High-stress acute care environment
• May require overtime based on unit needs
