Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work at a Facility in Falls Church, VA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $59 / hour

Duties:

Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans
Provide speech and language therapy sessions
Help improve communication, pronunciation, and comprehension
Treat swallowing and feeding difficulties
Teach alternative communication methods (devices, gestures)
Educate patients and families
Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans
Document patient care and outcomes
Work with healthcare or school teams

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Must have up to date credentials in the state of VA
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
