Description
POSITION: Electrophysiology Lab Tech
SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING
==============================
• Shift hours: 4x10s, 7a-530p, rotating late shifts. No weekends and No call requirements. There is a "late" requirement, and this is all rotated. All staff sign up to stay late if a case extends into the evening. EP closes on Carilion holidays.
• Charting: Epic required
• Pending License Accepted: CCI RCIS/RCES- No license required. OR ARRT (R) and Virginia state license required. Any active state license (in hand or pending) is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license so they can work while their permanent VA license is processing.
• Work Settings: EP Lab experience. EP mapping.
• Sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, Cardiac Background
• Able to scrub and circulate all procedures (ablations, devices/implants)
• Experienced with: Micropace/LSPro, Epic/Cupid Documentation
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management
