Colorado Nursing License

Description

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM
STABLE certification
NRP Instructor certification

Experience

Minimum 5 years of Obstetrics Nursing and Neonatal experience required
Prior leadership experience preferred
Bilingual skills are a plus
This position reports directly to the Birthing Center Manager

Strong, astute communication skills with staff, physicians, visitors, administration, and the public
Ability to adapt to diverse situations involving multiple people, tasks, and priorities
Ability to use sound independent judgment and take appropriate action

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to operate all equipment relevant to the role
Competency to perform required technical nursing procedures
Ability to speak clearly, professionally, and effectively in group settings
Demonstrated capability to exercise appropriate supervision and management skills
