Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel Contract)
Location: Bi-Campus (York Street & Saint Raphael)
Start Date: ASAP 

 

Shift Options

4x10s Days: 07:00–17:30 or 11:00–21:00
OR

Mixed Schedule: 2x12s (7:30–20:00) + 2x8s (07:00–15:30 or 11:30–20:00)

 

Position Overview

Join a leading Level I Trauma Center supporting advanced Interventional Radiology procedures across two campuses. This is a high-acuity, procedure-focused environment with 1:1 patient ratios and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

 

Requirements

Experience: 1+ year IR experience (first-time travelers not accepted)

Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS

License: Must be active prior to start (pending acceptance)

Charting: Epic

Travel Experience: Required

Trauma: Level I preferred

 

Schedule & Policies

Call: Not required

Weekends: Not required

Block Scheduling: Not available

Float: Yes – bi-campus coverage

Locals: Not accepted

RTO: >7 days requires approval

 

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile field; scrub and circulate

Assist with IR and vascular procedures

Manage venous access (PICC, ports, central lines)

Perform image post-processing and equipment setup

 

Procedures & Skills

Core IR: Angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stents, thrombectomy, TIPS

Special Procedures: TACE, Y-90, ablations, uterine/prostate embolization

Other: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, venous access

 

Technology

GE Innova & Philips Fluoroscopy

Ultrasound, IVUS

Cone Beam CT, Excimer Laser, Ablation Units
