Description
- Any traveler without an active Hawaii (HI) RN license must apply immediately upon offer acceptance.
- Candidate must have a Hawaii RN license by the start date.
Position: RN – ER, Acute and LTC (Critical Access Hospital)
This is a small critical access hospital with no separate units. RN staff are required to cover all areas, including Emergency, Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC).
Shift & Scheduling Details
- Schedule: 6×12-hour shifts per two-week pay period (72 hours)
- Every 3rd weekend off
- Floating/Unit Coverage:
- If assigned to the ER and there are no patients, the RN will provide support in Acute and LTC
- If assigned to meds, the RN will pass medications and perform procedures in both LTC and Acute units
- Not a latex-free facility
- Hours are not guaranteed
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Ability to work across ER, Acute, and LTC settings
- Flexibility and comfort working in a rural, small-hospital environment
- BLS certification required
