Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Outpatient Surgery Unit -Operating Room settings. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care in an ambulatory surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in outpatient/ambulatory OR settings
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Monitor patients during surgical procedures and ensure safety
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team members
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of RN experience in OR or outpatient surgery
• Experience in ambulatory OR or general OR settings
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Strong clinical and communication skills

Certifications Required:

• AHA BLS Certification
• CA state license: 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Orthopedic procedures (
• Podiatry procedures
• Gynecology surgical experience

Additional Notes:

• No travel experience required
• Fast-paced outpatient surgical setting
