🚨 Mental Health Monitor / Sitter – Corrections | Days (PRN Available) 🚨
📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ
🏥 Facility: Correctional Services
📅 Start Dates: 4/13, 4/27, 5/11
📄 Contract Length: 13 weeks
🩺 Position Overview:
- Specialty: Behavioral Health / Corrections
- Role: Mental Health Monitor / Sitter
- Setting: Correctional mental health unit (no floating required)
📅 Schedule & Details:
- 36 hours/week (3 x 12s)
- Shift: Days
- PRN option available:
- Minimum 1 shift/week
- Up to 36 hours/week available
- Overtime: Only approved for critical needs
- Extensions: Possible
💰 Pay:
- $16/hr
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $576/week
👩⚕️ Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 observation and monitoring of patients
- Ensure patient safety in a behavioral health setting
- Observe and report changes in condition or behavior
- Support nursing and clinical staff as needed
- Maintain a safe, controlled environment
✅ Requirements:
- AHA BLS Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in a medical or support role
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

- No on-call requirement
- No floating (assigned to one facility/unit)
- Must work weekends/holidays (5 holidays/year)
