Description
Genie Healthcare is hiring an LPN for a 6 month contract in Denton, TX! Days and Evenings available - Shift 1: 6:00AM – 2:00 P.M. or Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM!
DESCRIPTION: The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Denton State Supported Living Center performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
- Perform computer data entry – Receive full training.
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess valid LVN license.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
- Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
- Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
- Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
- Must complete facility and HHSC required training.
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2)
