Job Title- MRI Technologist
Schedule: 5x8 Hours (Call Rotation Required)
Duration: 13 Weeks (based on start date)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Savannah, GA (100 miles radius)
Pay: $38/hour (W2) + $1580 Weekly Stipend
Weekly Gross: $3100
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. This role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Operate MRI scanners (including 1.5T Fuji systems) ensuring optimal image quality
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort
- Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety compliance
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
Perform and assist with advanced imaging procedures, including breast MRI and breast biopsy (if qualified)
Qualifications
- Associate Science degree (Required)
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent MRI certification (Required)
- AHA BLS certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (Required)
- Experience in high-volume MRI settings (Preferred)
Breast MRI and breast biopsy experience (Preferred)
