- Number of Beds – 14 private rooms (+6 overflow in PICU on same floor)
- Patient Ratios – 1:1-3:1
- Type of equipment – GE Monitors, Avea ventilators, Medtronic/INVOS NIRS, Alaris pumps, Medfusion and Kangaroo feeding pumps
- Specialized Equimpent: ECMO (Run by perfusionists or ECMO specialists,) CRRT (PrisMax and Prismaflex)
- EMR -Meditech/Paper
- Typical Procedures: Central line/arterial line insertion, Chest tube insertion/removal, Bronchoscopy, Chest closure (with OR team at bedside), Emergent surgical procedures (with OR team at bedside)
- Potential Float Areas: PICU, NICU, PEDS, Peds ER, MBU (NURSERY), & can task on other units throughout the hospital
- Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend nights (Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays) per 4-week schedule
- Call: None
Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 12 months of Peds CVICU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- NV RN License
- BLS and PALS Certifications
Preferred or Nice to Have:
- MediTech Experience
- Travel Experience
