Gross Pay: $2,286/week

Schedule: 4×12 Variable Shifts | 48+ hours/week

Float: May float to sister locations within 65 miles

Position Overview

A traveler‑friendly EMS department in Rhinelander, WI is seeking an experienced Paramedic for a high‑acuity, variable‑shift assignment. This role requires strong critical‑care transport skills and the ability to work independently across multiple service areas. With 48+ hours per week and multi‑site coverage, this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Paramedic looking for a dynamic, high‑impact contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Paramedic experience (independent of EMT experience)
• 3 years preferred
• Must have critical care inter‑facility transport experience
• Active Wisconsin Paramedic License
• Valid Driver’s License
• CEVO or EVOC required
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS or equivalent
• Education: High school graduate + completion of an EMS Paramedic program

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality pre‑hospital and inter‑facility critical care transport
• Perform advanced life support procedures within state and system protocols
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and in compliance with CEVO/EVOC standards
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain readiness of equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with EMS crews, nurses, and physicians across multiple locations
• Adapt to variable shift needs and float between sister facilities as required
