GHR Healthcare is hiring a Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a high-impact role!

$3,153.00 Weekly Gross Pay
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM (Evenings)

Join a strong, fast-paced laboratory team where you’ll step into a true leadership role supporting daily operations, staffing, and overall lab performance.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

Lead MLS role supporting lab leadership and daily operations
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage (weekends/holidays)
Act as point person for troubleshooting and problem solving
Perform routine and complex laboratory testing
Oversee quality control, maintenance, calibration, and validations
Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and accreditation standards
Support training, competency, and onboarding of new staff
Assist with policy updates, audits, and regulatory readiness

REQUIREMENTS:

ASCP Certification REQUIRED
2+ years of MLS experience REQUIRED
Previous lead or supervisory experience REQUIRED
Strong experience with quality control, validations, and troubleshooting
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital lab
Comfortable supporting staff training and operational oversight
