Travel/Contract LTC Registered Nurse

This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a dedicated LTC setting, providing essential patient care and showcasing their skills across multiple shifts.
What You Will Do:
As a Travel LTC Registered Nurse, you will deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to residents in a 43-bed long-term care facility. You'll work on 8 or 12-hour day/PM shifts, with the chance to float to nearby facilities as needed. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing treatments, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety. This role offers a prime opportunity to expand your skills and experience in a supportive environment.
Required Skills:
- MN RN License & AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in LTC
- Strong charting skills (preferably with Matrix)
- Ability to work independently and manage changing needs with resilience
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records beyond Matrix
- Previous exposure to float assignments in LTC settings
- Strong communication and social skills, capable of managing tasks independently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota RN license
- Prior long-term care nursing experience and familiarity with LTC protocols
Other Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions considered)
- Ability to start medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance
- Flexibility for every other weekend and holiday shifts
