Description
RN Travel Contract – Quick Job Summary
Shift: Day Shift – 3×12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Day Shift – 4×12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Weekly Hours Options:
- 36 hours/week (3 shifts)
- 48 hours/week (4 shifts)
Overtime:
- For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid after 48 hours
Patient Ratio:
- Target 1:4
- Can occasionally be 1:5–6
Required Experience & Certifications:
- EPIC charting experience required
- Experience with stable chronic ventilators
- BLS, ACLS, NIH required
- IV Start preferred
- Minimum 1.5 years RN experience
- Level 1 or Level 2 hospital experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Must pass online EKG Tele competency test before start
Floating:
- Travelers are first to float within specialty clusters
- May float between campuses within 10–15 miles of main campus if assigned to MVH
Schedule Expectations:
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Contract Notes:
- Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census
- Contract can be terminated with 2 weeks notice
- Travelers not eligible for internal employee incentives
RTO Policy:
- All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
- No RTO added after offer
- Approval at manager’s discretion
