Job Title - Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Type: Contract

Location- Petersburg, WV
Coverage Area - Grant County, WV, Hardy County, WV, Pendleton County, WV

Shift:  Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm/ 40 hrs/ week 
 

Mileage reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient visit)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role is focused on performing high-volume blood draws in a clinical setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Follow individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
• Accurately document patient progress and treatments (HCHB documentation preferred)
• Communicate effectively with supervising PT, patients, and caregivers
• Travel between patient homes within assigned coverage areas
• Ensure compliance with all clinical and organizational standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of West Virginia
• Prior experience in a clinical or home health setting preferred
• Familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) documentation is a plus

Certification:

• Valid PTA License (West Virginia)
