🚨 Behavioral Health CNA – Contract Opportunity 🚨
📍 Location: Coalinga, CA
📅 Start Date: 5/4 (Tentative; subject to change)
📄 Contract Length: 26 or 52 weeks (long-term preferred)
🩺 Position Overview
- Specialty: Behavioral Health
- Setting: Forensic psychiatric hospital
- Patient Population: Adult mental health
📅 Schedule & Shift
- 40 hours/week (5 x 8s)
- Shift: Variable (Days, Mids, Nights)
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT:
Candidates must be open to ANY shift (days, mids, or nights)
👉 You will be assigned a set shift AFTER orientation
👉 No shift preference will be guaranteed
📚 Orientation & Training
- ~30 days total
- All training on Day shift (5 x 8s)
- Includes medication certification + shadowing
NO RTO during orientation
👩⚕️ Responsibilities
- Monitor patient behavior and safety
- Support therapeutic environment
- Assist nursing staff with patient care needs
- Maintain documentation and unit support
📋 Requirements
- Active CA CNA License
- BLS & CPI Certification
- 1+ year of experience (behavioral health preferred)
- Must be flexible with weekends & holidays
- Local candidates only
📋 RTO & Attendance
- Max 8 days
- No RTO during training
- Strict attendance policy (call-outs may lead to termination)
💰 Compensation
- $27.25/hr
- $1,090/week gross (40 hrs)
- OT available only as needed

- 1,200+ bed forensic psychiatric hospital
