Exciting Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Local or Travel

Current openings: Danville, Portola Valley, Oakland, and Palo Alto, CA

PediaStaff is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a great adult rehab opportunity. Job Details:
Job Location: Danville, Portola Valley, Oakland, and Palo Alto, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks with possibility to extend
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Setting: Adult rehab
Position Type: Local or Travel
Pay Rate: $30-$37 per hour

In this role, you will:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to adult patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans focused on daily living skills, mobility, safety, and functional independence
  • Work closely with the rehab team to support strong patient outcomes
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising therapist and care team
  • Help patients improve function and overall quality of life

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active California COTA license
  • Adult rehab, SNF, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
