Position Overview

A traveler‑friendly critical access facility in Gold Beach, OR is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support its weekend imaging operations. This role offers a consistent three‑day schedule and requires strong MRI competency, independent workflow skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a rural hospital environment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience
Active ARRT (MR)
Current BLS
Oregon license (must be active before start)
Strong proficiency in MRI protocols, safety screening, and patient positioning
Ability to work independently during 12‑hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality MRI exams following established protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning, safety screening, and image optimization
Support ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
Maintain accurate documentation within imaging and EMR systems
Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and radiologists to ensure efficient workflow
Provide professional, patient‑centered care throughout all weekend shifts
