Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel contract in Bel Air, MD. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing cardiac team in a busy interventional and diagnostic cath lab setting.

Job Details:
Location: Bel Air, MD
Assignment Type: Travel Contract Job
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Schedule: 3x12 Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours: 36 per week
Call: Required (approx. 8 weeknights + 4 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week schedule)
Weekends/Holidays: Required as scheduled (part of call)
Block Scheduling: Not available

Compensation:
Gross Weekly: $2,507
Weekly Hourly (Taxable): $1,198
Weekly Stipends (Tax Free): $1,309

Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with cardiac cath lab procedures in both diagnostic and interventional settings
Scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile field during procedures
Set up and operate cath lab equipment
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
Assist with procedures including PCI, PTCA, stent placement, and catheterizations
Follow all PPE and isolation protocols

Required Qualifications:
1+ year of recent Cath Lab experience (strong experience required)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (CCI) required
Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including:

Diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
Left and right heart cath
PCI/PTCA
Stent placement
Dysrhythmia interpretation

Preferred Experience:
IABP placement/removal
Rotablader atherectomy
Implant closure devices

Work Environment:
