Description

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to ICU and COVID ICU patients
Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and critical care drips
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient status
Perform rapid assessment and respond to patient deterioration
Collaborate with physicians, RT, and interdisciplinary team
Document patient care accurately in EMR (TruBridge/Evident)
Float between ICU and PCU units as required
Assist with patient care needs including CNA-level tasks when needed
Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 1 year ICU experience
Must have ventilator and tracheostomy experience
Experience with critical care drips (including sedation)
Ability to work in high-acuity COVID and ICU settings

Licenses & Certifications

RN License (Active)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS (Preferred)
TNCC (Preferred)

Education

ASN required
BSN not required
