Description
Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 26 Weeks
Shift: Days – 4x10s (06:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular and thoracic procedures in a high-acuity operating room setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining sterile technique, handling surgical instruments, and assisting surgeons during complex cases.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience with CABG, valve replacements, EVAR/TEVAR, and vascular procedures
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and instrument sterilization
- Experience in trauma or teaching hospital settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile field
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and vascular procedures
- Handle and process surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient safety and support surgical team
Preferred Skills:
- TAVR, VAD, robotic cardiothoracic surgery
- Endoscopic and thoracic procedures (VATS, bronchoscopy)
- Hybrid OR experience
