Description
- Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric (Psych) experience required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) required
- De-escalation training required
- Experience with adult psychiatric patients (18+)
- Ability to perform safety checks and room checks
- Skilled in vital signs monitoring and patient observation (1:1 care)
- Experience with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Must be comfortable with 15-minute rounding protocols
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Ability to perform blood glucose checks
- Comfortable working with patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and related conditions
- Willingness to float to other psych units (adult & pediatric, crisis, detox, rehab)
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Willing to work 2–3 holidays per year
- Flexible with scheduling (no guaranteed block schedule)
- Must adhere to attendance policy (excessive call-outs may lead to termination)
