Description
Position: RN – Med Surg / Ortho
Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: Ortho – 30 beds | Med Surg – 37 beds
- Patient Ratio: Typically 6:1
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Staffing Support: Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Student Nurse Externs (SNEs), and a Unit Secretary during day shift
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Schedule Requirements:
- Monthly schedule blocks (4 weeks)
- Full-time staff required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule period (example: 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
Floating Policy:
- May float to other inpatient units to take patients
- May assist with tasks in CCU and ED as needed
Certifications Required:
- BLS
