Description
LOCAL PAY - $60 to $62/hr on W2.
PAY:
Hourly Pay: $40.5/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $700 weekly
Meals: $542 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2700 weekly for 36 hours (Day Shift)
Weekly Gross: $2850 weekly for 36 hours (Evening Shift)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Emergency Department
Location - 111 Hospital Drive, Utica, NY 13502
JOB DETAILS:
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Shift: 6:30 am to 7 pm // 36 hours weekly
Charting - EPIC
Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED

Unit Specifics: Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp Failure Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
Work Location - On Location
Ability to commute/relocate: Utica, NY 13502: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform rapid patient triage and initial assessments to determine the severity of conditions and prioritize care.
Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, trauma, and life-threatening conditions.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status using advanced monitoring equipment.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians during emergency procedures such as intubation, suturing, wound care, and trauma resuscitation.
Operate emergency equipment including defibrillators, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
Stabilize critically ill or injured patients before admission, transfer, or discharge.
Respond quickly to cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies using ACLS/BLS protocols.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff to deliver efficient patient care.
REQUIREMENT:
At least 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience.
NY RN License
AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC - Required
