Description
RN – Cardiac Step-Down Unit | Nights | 12H
- Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekends per 6-week schedule
- On Call: None
- Scheduling: No block scheduling; flexibility required
Unit / Patient Population:
- STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, CHF
- Noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery (after ICU)
- Antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise
- May float to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years SDU (Step-Down Unit) experience
- Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS required (applicants without active copies may still be considered)
- Oklahoma RN license required
