RN – Emergency Department | Nights | 12H

• Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Scheduling: Block scheduling attempted; flexible scheduling required

Unit / Patient Population:

• State-certified Level III Trauma Center with Cath Lab (M–F, 0800–1700) and Primary Stroke Center
• ER Beds: 2 triage, 2 trauma, 7 additional beds; 1 psych/seclusion room with video monitoring
• Average Patients per Day: ~40; variable nurse-to-patient ratio (3–4:1 for short periods)
• Patient Types: Abdominal pain, falls, chest pain, ~20% pediatric

Requirements:

• RN with preferably ≥3 years ED experience; prior travel experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC
• Current RN license
• Able to read own cardiac telemetry strips; RT available 24/7
• Experience with common drips: antibiotics, cardiac meds, heparin, TPA, insulin
