Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location: Paris, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- 154-bed hospital serving Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Level 1 NICU
- Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
- Recognized in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
- Located near the Texas-Oklahoma border in a small town with a low cost of living and historic downtown
Unit Information
- Department: Respiratory Therapy
- Unit Type: Main Hospital, Respiratory Therapy Unit
- Patient Ratios: Vary depending on census
- Staffing: Includes unit secretaries, tech availability, and EKG tech on weekdays
- Equipment: Servo I ventilators, Carescape ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, standard nebulizers
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, with every other weekend required
- Floating Policy: None
- Dress Code: Ceil Blue uniform
Job Responsibilities & Procedures
- ICU care and ventilator management
- Blood gas analysis and arterial line draws
- EKGs and basic respiratory care
- Care for tracheostomy patients
- Weaning trials and oxygen therapy knowledge
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
- Float requirements: as needed
