Travel Cath Lab Tech – ASAP Start | Day Shift | Rapid Response

We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech for a rapid response assignment. This is a high-priority role for candidates who can start quickly and step into a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shift)
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (or similar day shift)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP (must be able to start within 7–10 days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Maintain sterile field and assist with procedural setup
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
• Document procedures and patient information accurately
• Support workflow and efficiency within the cath lab

Requirements

• Active Cath Lab Tech certification (ARRT or RCIS preferred)
• Active state license (if required)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Must be able to start within 7–10 days of offer

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience
• Experience in smaller or community hospital settings
• Strong adaptability and ability to jump into new environments quickly

Additional Details

• 8-week contract (short-term, high-priority need)
• Monday–Friday day shift schedule
• On-call required (every 3rd weekend and additional call shifts)
• Floating may be required
