Travel Cath Lab Tech – Day Shift | Low-Volume Lab | Training-Friendly

We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech to join a supportive, lower-volume cath lab environment. This role is ideal for a strong tech who is confident in their skills and open to helping support and train team members.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shift)
• Shift: Starting around 9:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Scrub procedures and support cath lab workflow
• Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures
• Operate imaging and cath lab equipment
• Monitor patient condition and assist with procedural care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team
• Support training and onboarding of newer staff as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Recent Cath Lab experience required
• Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular procedures
• Ability to work independently and support team development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PCI, peripheral, and diagnostic cath procedures
• Experience with balloon pumps and STEMI cases preferred
• Previous travel experience
• Strong communication and leadership mindset

Additional Details

• 1 cath lab currently (expanding to 2)
• 0–6 cases per day (lower volume environment)
• Mix of cardiac, peripheral, and IR procedures
• No call currently required
• Day shift with later start time (9:30 AM)
• Scrubbing required
