Most recently, HCA Houston Healthcare—which acquired the facility in 1995—rebranded the hospital from Kingwood Medical Center to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, according to a letter from John Corbeil, CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is a 419-bed acute care facility that has been serving the Lake Houston area for over 25 years. Our hospital offers a range of services including emergency care, cardiac care, orthopedics, neurological care, and high-risk obstetrics. Our campus includes a Women's & Children's Center with a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a designated pediatric inpatient unit, and the area's only pediatric emergency department. 

We are a certified comprehensive stroke center, chest pain center, and an accredited atrial fibrillation center. As a part of one of the largest healthcare systems in Houston, HCA Houston Healthcare, we are committed to providing accessible care.
