Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg / Telemetry
Start Date: May 26, 2026

Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts

Important Requirement:
• Active NY RN License must be in hand at the time of submission – no exceptions

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care for MedSurg/Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Manage and respond to cardiac emergencies using Rapid Response or Code teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required

Patient Ratio:
• 1:5 – 1:7 MedSurg patient ratio

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of MedSurg RN experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be comfortable with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Floating required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Certifications:
• BLS required
• NIHSS preferred
