Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU Level III (Night Shift)

Location: Apple Valley, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: May 5, 2026
Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 3×12‑hour shifts

This is a high‑acuity NICU caring for complex neonatal conditions. Candidates must meet all required skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level III NICU
Manage respiratory support including:
- Bubble CPAP
- High‑frequency ventilation and oscillators
- Conventional ventilators (AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BiPAP, PEEP)
Care for central lines, PICC lines, and implanted lines
Assist with procedures including intubations, ROP exams, and spinal taps
Titrate medications including dopamine drips
Monitor and support premature infants, feeders/growers, and RDS patients
Utilize smart pumps, feeding pumps, isolettes, and warmers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy
Document care accurately per facility standards

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (state of practice)
Minimum 2 years RN experience, including at least 1 year NICU experience
BLS Certification
NRP Certification
