Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient | Evening Shift | Acute Care
We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support an inpatient hospital pharmacy. This role offers a strong clinical focus in a structured environment with a later shift schedule.
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacist
- Schedule: 5x8s (Evening Shift)
- Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Contract Length: 12 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for safety and appropriateness
- Perform sterile compounding and medication preparation
- Provide clinical support including renal dosing, IV to PO conversions, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Monitor patient therapies and ensure optimal medication outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Support pharmacy operations and compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- BLS certification required
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems
- Experience with TPN dosing and pharmacokinetics
- Previous travel experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Additional Details

- Closing pharmacist may take call as needed

Florida pharmacist license required
Must have sterile compounding experience
