Description

Job Title: Pharmacist (Charge)

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Facility: Hospital - Inpatient Pharmacy

Duration: 13 Weeks (04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026)

Shift: Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Charge Pharmacist to lead and support inpatient pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure safe and effective medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations
Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff
Monitor patient medication therapies and outcomes

Requirements:

Active California Pharmacist License (required)
Minimum 7 years of hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience
Strong clinical and leadership background
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additional Details:

No on-call required
Stable weekday schedule
