Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: Required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse to support diagnostic and therapeutic EP studies at McAllen Heart Hospital. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in EP procedures, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to assist in educating and mentoring staff in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies
• Support physicians during EP procedures in a cardiac lab setting
• Utilize knowledge of EP systems and equipment (Micropace experience preferred)
• Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Assist in staff education and clinical support at McAllen Heart Hospital
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in monitoring diagnostic and therapeutic EP studies (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Active RN license in the state/district (Required)
• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS certifications (Required)
• Recent acute care experience (Required)
• Strong clinical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN (Highly desired)
• Experience with Micropace systems
