📌 OB RN Travel Contract – Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital

📍 Location: Wisconsin
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🚀 Start Date: ASAP
⏱ Weekly Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (3 × 12-hour shifts per week)

🏥 Unit: OB / Labor & Delivery
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts

📅 Weekend Requirement:
• 2 weekends out of every 4 (as needed)
• Holiday rotation required

🩺 Unit Details

• 2 Labor Rooms
• 6 Postpartum Beds
• Level 1 Maternity & Level 1 Nursery
• ~100 births annually (≈10/month)
• Nurses handle Labor, Postpartum & Newborn care (combined unit)

Typical Ratio:
• Follows AWHONN guidelines
• Example: 1 RN = 2 moms / 2 babies

🔄 Float Requirements

May float to:
• OB / L&D (primary)
• Med-Surg, ER, or ICU for support tasks only
(vitals, answering lights, patient history — no patient assignments)

May also float to other Aspirus Southern Region locations if needed.

📋 Requirements

✔ 2+ years OB experience with L&D
✔ 1 Travel Assignment Required
✔ EPIC Charting Experience
✔ WI RN License

Certifications (Required):
• BLS
• Advanced NRP

Preferred:
• AWHONN
• PALS

(Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)

📅 Time Off Policy

• Maximum RTO: 7 days

📞 Call / Extra Shifts

• No scheduled on-call required
• Extra shifts may be available for sick coverage

⚠️ Low Census Policy

• Up to 36 hours unbillable during contract
• Travelers may be placed on-call during low census
• Call-back minimum: 2 hours pay if called back

• Comfortable in a small critical access hospital environment

👕 Scrubs

• Any color allowed (surgical scrubs provided if needed)

🩺 Vaccination Policy

If declining Flu or COVID vaccines, a mask is required at all times during flu season.
