Description

Beds: 18 beds total - 6 bed PICU, 12 MedSurg Peds; interchangeable.
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2+ years PICU experience. If traveler went straight into PICU out of school, need minimum 3 years.
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Respiratory: high flow, CPAP, BiPAP, vent, fresh and established trachs, RSV, asthma, Covid, flu
Medical: MIS-C, new onset diabetes with insulin drips, chronically ill, oncology (will not give chemo)
Surgical: appys, g-tubes, ENT, bowel obstruction, broken bones
Trauma: falls, MVAs, drownings, ski accidents, only pediatric neurosurgeon in MT
Neuro: EVDs (required), shunts, bolts, cranies, Chiari malformation, epilepsy, seizures, 24h EEGs. Only pediatric neurosurgeon on MT here
Cardiac: no cardiac surgeries or interventions. Will see medically managed congenital defect, abnormal rhythm.
