Description
- At least 1 year of Pathology Assistant experience
- Hands-on experience in:
- Grossing & dissection of surgical specimens
- Frozen section preparation
- Specimen handling & labeling
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
- Completed Pathologists’ Assistant Program (or equivalent)
- Active New York State License (required at submission)
- BLS AHA
- Shift: 9 AM – 5 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Guaranteed Hours: ✅ 37.5 hours/week
- Working in Pathology Lab (Acute Care)
- Tasks like:
- Grossing, specimen prep, frozen sections
- Assisting pathologists
- Using EPIC / LIS systems
- Exposure to lab chemicals
- Flu vaccine required
- Paid parking (~$1.26/hour)
