MRI Technologist – Chicago, Illinois
Full-Time | Permanent
Onsite – Mobile Units (Permanently Parked)

We are hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist to lead the day-to-day clinical operations of our permanently stationed mobile MRI units in the Chicago area.
Location Details (Non-Travel Role)
This is not a traditional traveling position. Units are permanently parked at the following locations:
- Chicago, IL – Humboldt Park
Dedicated onsite parking is provided near each location.
Role Overview
As a Mobile MRI Technologist, you will be the clinical owner of your assigned unit, reporting to the Director of Imaging Performance. You will manage the full patient experience—from safety screening through high-quality imaging—while ensuring full compliance with ACR standards.
This role requires strong independence, clinical confidence, and the ability to work solo.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform high-quality MRI scans with a focus on diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Take full ownership of a Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI system, ensuring peak performance
- Manage and document daily QC/QA procedures required for safety and accreditation
- Lead MRI safety screening and compliance protocols
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues; collaborate with Field Service Engineers
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and documentation using Acuity Scheduling and Google Workspace
REQUIRED Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT (MR) certification – Required
- MUST have experience scanning on Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI systems
- MUST be able to work independently/solo as the lead technologist on site
- Proven experience obtaining or maintaining ACR MRI accreditation
- Strong understanding of MRI safety standards and screening procedures
- Experience managing daily QC/QA documentation
- Comfortable using scheduling and digital tools (Acuity, Google Workspace preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 annually
