Description

Travel RN – PCU / Critical Care – Nights

📍 Location: OlOlathe, KS 66061
🩺 Unit: PCU / CriticalCare

Assignment Details

Start Date: 4/27 or 5/11
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Duration: 13 weeks (likely extension)

Patient Population / Skills Required

ICU / Critical Care level patients
Must have hands-on experience with:
- CRRT
- BiPAP
- Chest Tubes
- PICC Lines
- Drawing own labs
No vascular access team (must handle own consults)
Must be comfortable running codes independently

Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent ICU / Critical Care experience
KS RN License or Compact License
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
EMR: EPIC

Floating Requirements

Required to float within system to ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED (based on prior experience).

Orientation

Day 1–2: KUKC Campus
Day 3–4: Olathe (Director of Nursing training)
Day 5: Virtual EPIC training
